Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

Last updated 27 August 2026

This policy explains what Taqwa APK collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

Your account — name, username, email address and, if you provide it, a phone number and country. Passwords are stored only as a hash.

What you do here — the apps you download, buy, wishlist and review. We need this to give you a library, honour your purchases and show your reviews.

Traffic data — page views are counted using a salted, daily-rotating hash of your IP address and browser string. We do not store the raw IP against a page view, and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not send your email address to advertising networks. Avatars are generated on our own servers rather than fetched from a third-party service, so no external company is told which pages you visit.

Developers and your data

A developer sees aggregate statistics for their own apps — how many downloads, from which countries, and what people rated them. They do not see your email address, and they cannot contact you directly.

Payments

Card and wallet details are handled entirely by the payment provider you choose. We store the provider's transaction reference and the amount, never your card number.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your reviews, empty your wishlist, and close your account from your settings. Closing an account removes your profile; purchase records are kept for as long as accounting rules require.
